Knocking on heavens door led to bright idea
A near fatal car accident where a motorist almost killed a cyclist, led to the driver and his passenger coming up with an idea and product which allows motorists to see much more safely and clearer whilst driving at night. The driver with his 19 year old son were driving one night around a dimly lit square in London, a parked vehicle with it's headlights on full beam was directly facing them, the driver had to momentarily squint and slightly detract his vision whilst passing the offending vehicle, by which time it was to late for him to have noticed a drunken cyclist whom so happened to have crossed his path on the wrong side of the road and head straight towards him, all of a sudden the driver see a man hurtling through the air and head-butt his windscreen.
The driver said:- "Due to the parked vehicle with it's lights on full beam, I was temporarily blinded so slowed right down to around 5mph, if I was going any faster the cyclist could have been killed, he steered directly into my path and crashed directly into the car bumper, he had a tin of beer in one hand so was only steering with the other, he's own inertia threw him straight over the handlebars, he head butted my windscreen, which smashed upon the impact due to the sheer weight of him, there was blood everywhere, I was really annoyed because the man was a idiot, as was the driver of the vehicle whom chose to keep their headlights on full beam and have since learnt they were most probably xenon's or illegal halogens, but I was more concerned I couldn't see him even though I was driving so slowly, what if a child had run out in front of me, it makes me shudder to think of the consequences, and basically it was due to this shocking experience which led me and my son Sonny to come up with the idea of THE SEESAFER® PROTECTIVE SHIELD™, if I had had one attached to my windscreen at the time of that accident, I would of no doubt been able to have seen what was coming, stopped and perhaps swerved away before the cyclist had time to hit me".
The Seesafer Protective Shield can also be used to help reduce the full-beam glare from vehicles headlights that presently bounces off and reflects back through via the motor cars side-view and rear view mirrors, this problem often arises at night time and once a vehicle appears from behind you and decides to have their headlights on full beam, specifically tailgaters and when you come to a halt at a junction or traffic lights, the powerful beam from the headlights can temporally blind the recipient driver via the reflection from there own side-view mirrors, particularly in the hours of darkness and with the recent introduction of the new high powered xenon headlights and that of the widespread menace of illegally hybrid high wattage halogen light bulbs that are now flooding the worldwide market, night driving is becoming more uncomfortable and even dangerous in many cases. Because most vehicles have different shaped wing and rear-view mirrors, it would be difficult to make a 'Protective Shield' to cover all ranges, however:
BY USING A SEESAFER PROTECTIVE SHIELD YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CUT DOWN TO SIZE THE TRANSPARENT FILM TO COVER THE REAR-VIEW AND SIDE-VIEW MIRRORS- YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET 'TWO' SIDE-VIEW MIRROR TINTS FORM 'ONE' SEESAFER PROTECTIVE SHIELD AND ONE SEESAFER PROTECTIVE SHIELD WILL BE ENOUGH TO COVER MOST REAR-VIEW MIRRORS.
1.FOR SIDE VIEW MIRRORS- GET THE SEESAFER PROTECTIVE SHIELD, CUT IT INTO TWO EQUAL PARTS SO YOU HAVE TWO 4" X 4" SQUARES, THE TRIM DOWN TO SIZE TO FIT YOUR MODELS SHAPE OF MIRROR, YOU DON'T WANT TO COVER THE MIRROR COMPLETELY, AND FOR THE BEST RESULTS YOUR SHOULD ONLY COVER THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE MIRROR, THIS WILL ALLOW YOU ENOUGH TINT TO BE ABLE TO MOVE YOUR EYES AND PREVENT YOU FROM BEING BLINDED FROM THE GLARE COMING FROM BEHIND, YOU WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO REMOVE IT EASILY WHENEVER YOU WISH TO.
2. FOR REAR-VIEW MIRRORS YOU SHOULD GET A SEESAFER PROTECTIVE SHIELD AND LAY IT FLAT OVER THE REAR-VIEW MIRROR, THEN MAKING NOTE AND MEASURING HOW MUCH YOU WILL HAVE TO TRIM THE TINT DOWN TO COVER THE MIRROR-'HOWEVER IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT COVER THE MIRROR ENTIRELY', FOR THE BEST RESULTS YOU WANT TO ONLY COVER THE BOTTOM 'HALF' OF THE REAR-VIEW MIRROR FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER, THIS WILL GIVE YOU ENOUGH TINT TO BE ABLE TO ADJUST YOUR EYES, WHEN BEING APPROACHED FROM BEHIND BY AN OFFENDING GLARE, YOU WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO QUICKLY AND EASILY REMOVE IT WHENEVER YOU WISH TO, REMEMBER THIS TINTS ARE SELF CLING, SO REUSABLE AGAIN AND AGAIN.
